Strange "line" on left side

Anyone have experience with this....

For the last week, I've noticed a raised line (hard to explain) on my left side just below my rib cage. It's sore to touch but not excessively and there is no mark on the skin, some mild indents. It's like a 3cm raised vertical line, almost like a vein but not where a vein would be?

Dr Google is not really giving any answers.

I've recently started exercising a lot more so it may be more noticeable. No other symptoms.

I am going to the doctor's tomorrow but night time pondering, thought I'd ask if anyone has had anything like it before.

Start of shingles?

No I've just had a look and there's no rash else where, just this one line. At first we thought it was a scratch as it was raised like one but it's not red and has been a week 🤷🏻‍♀️
