Help with Samsung washing machine

Does anyone know if there is a way to stop this thing adding time to the wash? I put it on a 1hr 27 min cycle and hour ago and it now says it has 2hr 36 mins to go

I have tried to read the manual but can't immediately find anything and I struggle with reading a lot of information.

It's a series 6 add wash if that helps

I recently got one. The engineer came out and talked a lot about the weight of items and putting the same type of things in together. Which I find really irritating as my old Zanussi could wash anything , always for an hour and a half.
I hate modern washing machines . The upshot seems to be to only fill it two thirds full and try to wash heavy items with other heavy items and vice versa. Pain in the arse. Also make sure it’s absolutely level. I still find some cycles go on for over three hours though.
