My 10 yr old DC has just done this at dinner (we're on holiday!)

Can you?

I cannot! Or roll my tongue.
DC and DH can both do both 🤪
Is there a correlation?!

Everyone can pat head and rub tummy but sometimes you have to train the movements to coincide, but once you can, you always can, lol.

I can roll my tongue and touch my nose with my tongue but that's just bc I've a busted nose and long tongue I think.

It's just muscle memory with most of it but the tongue rolling I think is genetic?

I can do it while riding a horse 😂 Can’t roll my tongue though. Like @LongLostSock I was also hyper mobile as a child but am just creaky these days (probably not helped by the horses…)

It's genetic. My DD has very mobile joints, also genetic.

Tongue rolling is genetic, I don't think rubbing tummy and patting head is though, that's something you can train your brain to do.

Oooh @NewName24 I have just found out I can do the ring finger bend - never knew it was a thing so feel a bit better now 😊

@WhamHamThankYouSpam I'm in absolute awe of your skills 😅

You're all a talented lot!

Yes, I've always been able to do it, and click my fingers. I can't roll my tongue though.

Yes, and I can switch over to less dominant hand to do it too.

Can roll tongue.

Can sit down on floor and get up again without using hands.
