Is it wine-y or.vinegar-y?
So you have teens in the house?
Could something have spilled?

Definitely not vinegar. I might have to pull everything out incase there's something that should not be there

Do you have an older teen?

JanglingJack · 27/05/2024 18:49

I think you should be certain before you start pulling your kitchen apart.

Red or white? Big difference.

Neighbours cooking beef bourginon at the weekend?

A teen is highly unlikely to go for wine when there are so many alcopops available.

Do you old fermenting veg somewhere?

Do you have*

Are you thinking something has died? Gone off meat, not wine. Probably still a bit of a fermenting smell though...

Im an alcoholic. I hid wine, but was smelled when I was secretly drinking.

Check your fruit bowl. Rotten apples can smell like wine and when it’s the core you don’t see it straight off.

theeyeofdoe · 27/05/2024 19:30

Does it matter then? You’ll eventually come across the thing which smells of wine.
maybe your partner wanted a glass?

I don't have partner . But either way no one drinks wine. There's no alcohol in the house. Last time was on Xmas day and that was alcopops type drink.
