I’m recovering from being in a horrific job for a year, where I was bullied, forced out and scapegoated for issues before I joined. My face never fit and they tried to use anything they could against me, lots of allegations my way but nothing upheld with me having to continually walk on eggshells
At the moment, I am waiting for a transfer to a different area within my department (large government department) which should hopefully give me some breathing room from my horrible team.
However I have a feeling I will still be treated badly, the department as a whole isn’t the best department to work for and should I just leave?
I’m also a manager and have been in previous roles, but I’m wondering whether a break from line management would suit me. I’m mainly posting for advice and support
