What would you wear with this?

Looking for a bit of inspiration..(!) Have a friend's 50th coming up in second week of June - location is partially indoors/partially outdoors during the early evening, but definitely not formal, fairly relaxed. Wondering what I could pair with this sequin outfit to give a bit of razzle, but not too much dazzle. Haven't worn it before, so no past ideas to go off. Any flashes of inspiration?! Thank you! Oh and if it makes a difference I am 5' 7'' 12-14 and very busty.

What would you wear with this?

If it is a June event, afternoon, not too formal I would try to tone it down slightly and make it more summery.

So I’d probably wear the skirt with a v neck top, perhaps in an off white or a subtle silver (maybe, would really depend on the colour) but nothing too bright as I don’t personally like bright and black as a combo. I would ditch the cape top.

Or, I’d wear white jeans, top and the cape.

Both items are lovely but together, to me, they say winter evening party, rather than summer afternoon party.

Thanks, this is really helpful, it's one of those weird ones where there is still a bit of dithering going on as to exactly where it will be and hence I am trying to hedge my bets with an outfit that could almost go either way if you know what I mean? Think the skirt with the top option is the best for me as I think jeans might feel just a little too informal (although I live in them the rest of the time, including at work!) Glad you like them and thanks for the advice! X

Yup - I agree, the combination of dark and sparkly is too wintery for a Summer party, particularly if held outside.

Do you have any other options?
