If you are/were a cleaner/chambermaid... What's the worst guest behaviour you've seen?

I used to clean schools that had teens from abroad there for holiday camps... Off the top of my head...
Used tampons in the shower
Worn pants in the shower
Poo next to the toilet (why??)

Oddly the ones that annoyed me even more than this was the girls soccer camper where one of them trapped a huge spider under a takeaway carton in the middle of the room and left it there. Obviously I thought it was just another bit of their mess and picked it up.

That's and one of their Dads who stood waaay to close to me while he patronisingly accused me of stealing.

Anyone else?

Empty Bottle of vodka and a positive pregnancy test.
Guy had complained about some bullshit out of our control so he shat on the bath matt on the bathroom floor inches away from the toilet.🙄
Someone had flipped the mattress with the sheet still on so the sheet was on the upside down part of the bed. our mattress shouldn't be flipped.

There's loads and loads more but gives me a giggle how strange people are.

It's so unusual the people you think wouldn't keep a room clean and is spotless compared to the horrific ones

Men pretending the room was empty and then when I entered asking me to get in bed with them or whatever. Disgusting levels of sexual harassment and management just "oh you know what men are like". I was 14.

the guests tried to claim that it was there when they checked in as I’m guessing they were cheeky fkers and wanted to save money by getting the room cheaper.

i know for a fact that that room defo didn’t have any used condoms on the radiator as it was me that had cleaned the room.

Sick absolutely everywhere in another room. It was a wedding party.

I used to own a B&B and lived in daily dread of this.

My weirdest was two young men sharing a twin room and finding a bin full of used tit tape and make up removing pads (covered in make up) when they left.

I also found a dead person.

Yes, you can’t tell. I was expecting pure hell when I got a big bachelor party (this was in the US) on my floor, but they left the rooms very tidy and a big tip (plus their leftover beer). A deeply respectable-looking retiree golfer couple, however, had used the towels to wipe mud and grass off their golfing shoes in the bath, and another had used the towels to wipe themselves, leaving shit-covered towels all over the bathroom.

Not the same but I was guest at a holiday park and my toddler found a stash of ecstasy half tucked down a sofa cushion.

I worked in a guest house many years ago. It was a summer job. An elderly to maybe me at 17 person got a stomach bug and didn't make it to the loo so used the sink. I got the job of cleaning it up though to be fair she had tried to do some of it herself. Whenever cleaning that room after I used to find myself nearly heaving when cleaning the sink and no way could I have ever stayed in that room and used that sink. This was before ensuites were a thing in holiday accommodation.

Happened 2x in 4 months. I was told it was very very common by an older woman who'd been in the job 10 years.

The worst ever: I think they'd been some kind of orgy. There were used sanitary towels, blood, and sperm everywhere, including all over the curtains. I fetched the head housekeeper, who was open-mouthed in shock. She sent me on my way and said that she didn't expect me to deal with it (it was a summer job and I was still at school), but I said that I wasn't going to leave her on her own. We both donned rubber gloves and disposable aprons, which was pretty hardcore for the 80s.
