found a banging deal for the last week of august. DH says it looks good but it’s got a bit of a reputation for being a bit (and I don’t like the word or the concept but for want of a better phrase) ‘chavvy’ and Benidorm adjacent.

I’ve been. Stay away from Sunny Beach which the locals call Sin City.

We stayed down the coast half an hour from the above and had a wonderful holiday.

I love beaches and swimming so I’m easily pleased.

I can’t stand mass beer/wine guzzling type holidays so it suited me.

Bulgarian food is lovely.

Oh the hotels were in sunny beach they are just the ones that come up on tui.

We're going in August, not far from Nessebar. Any tips gratefully received. Sorry to jump on the post @Nomorellama hope you don't mind.

Wouldn't go there if you paid me, the level of animal abuse/cruelty is horrendous
