When there is a thread that is pretty long and you don't want to read all the posts, at least read the OPs. It's frustrating enough when 100 posters all say the same thing, especially when it is wrong, irrelevant or plain daft, but when there has been a resolution and yet posters are still saying do THIS, say THAT, it's annoying.

It is annoying. I remember a thread a while back where the OP was worried about some symptoms their child had. The child was eventually diagnosed with something devastating and people were still popping up and saying
Oh my kid had similar symptoms once and was fine.

That's awful, it's bad enough when it's something not that important but a sick child. So sad.

You are spot on! I'm pretty sure Mumsnet moderators are pretty sick of me! I have reported many unhelpful comments from a recent thread and then had discussions with them too, if you don't agree with a moderators response you can reply again to discuss further.

I already do this with long threads.
