Is this a probable/definite food poisoning scenario, or a "could get away with it"?

DC has had one of those supermarket meal deal potted fruit pots of chopped refrigerated mango in her bag, presumably getting warm, for a couple of days. Finds it today and decides to eat a chunk😖, which is of course "fizzy".

Is it highly likely they'll be ill? Anything I can do to minimise risk? We're meant to be going away....

TIA

Unlikely to be anything. Maybe a little bit of cramping. I wouldn't think anything of it.

Just seen you said she only ate one chunk. I'm revising my decision to reduce it even further. About 1% risk she'll have any symptoms at all

She’ll be fine.

not high risk at all - if it was pasta, rice, houmous, etc, I would be a bit worried -
