Crown fallen out

Help! Crown has come out and obviously it’s bank holiday weekend 🙄 oh and we’re going away in the morning 😬

Just hoping for a bit of advice, should I go and get a temporary filling kit to keep it covered until I can get to a dentist? I’m just worried about food getting in it and causing an infection?

I wouldn't worry. I had to wait a few days when my crown fell out. I just avoided eating on that side.

Do you still have the crown in one piece? If so my dentist recommended using polygrip to pop it back in place.

I’ve attempted a temporary filling, can’t see it lasting the night to be honest and I’m just going to go with it and hope I don’t get any pain/infection whilst I’m away and get into my dentist asap.
