Worried about m toddler at bedtime

Just been in to check on my two year old like I do every night, gave me a fright, he was asleep with his blanket wrapped all the way around his head and over his face, I've moved said blanket obvs but now I'm terrified he will just do it again and of it's over his face he might suffocate. I'm in full blown panic and having heart palpitations about it now. I've taken his blanket (he's got a sleeping bag on) but what about in the future? He's getting to big for sleeping bags and I was even considering getting him some proper bedding like a pillow and a proper toddler duvet but now I'm panicking in case he does the same with that. I am a very anxious person and have OCD as well GAD so this has really really triggered me and I feel so panicked and worried about it now, just some reassurance that he won't suffocate or something in his sleep. Ready to go and.camp out in his room on the floor so I can keep a watchful eye.

He's old enough to wake himself up if he's feeling stuffy with his breathing and to move the blanket, but sounds like he doesn't need it if he's in his bag. He won't suffocate. Hope you get some rest yourself
