Job ideas for DD 17

My DD 17 is wanting a part time job. She's coming to the end of Y12. The situation is complicated by contact time between me and her Father, as we live in different places. She also wants to be a Dr, and so already spend time volunteering in a local Hospital and attending day courses for A-level Students some w/es. She has applied for Saturday jobs, e.g. in a Pharmacy, but they are not the ideal.

One idea is tutoring: she's very academic and, in fact, for a GCSE she took herself out of School, had a Student Tutor, but that was arranged through a previous School in another area.

Does anyone have any ideas about jobs in general or getting into tutoring specifically?

Thank-you.

You need to be in HE to sign up for a tutoring agency; she could offer support via advertising on local Facebook groups, though. Demand will not be high as GCSEs are in full swing now, and she is too young, IMO, to be of any use. Any job is fine to gain employment experience, whether waiting tables or running food a restaurant or shop work. It is tough for 17-year-olds to get jobs now; employment laws are more stringent, making it less attractive for companies to hire under 18s.

Babysitting and from there she could start to build up some tutoring work possibly (area dependant I think).
