How do I find a family holiday that leaves today?

We are all so bloody miserable.
The weather looks crap for next week half term, DH (SE) won’t confirm what days off he’ll take as it all depends on the weather and what me and the kids have planned (depends on weather), and we’ve not had any time the four of us in well, forever.
Am I mad to book us a holiday that leaves today or tomorrow? Just fly off somewhere (short haul!) for some sun?
Have checked skyscanner and Tui but they don’t show what’s leaving today - how do I do it?

I would have if I had the money and time off. Maybe look at on the beach or love holidays.

Maybe sunshine holidays or last minute.com

It's our last day in Mallorca today. I'm knackered because we have a 4 and 2 Yr old but it was great to get sun!

We've done this before a few times. I just went o line and googled, eventually found zante for a week, amazing holiday

You might need to book flights and accommodation separately, rather than a package. Go on sky scanner and search for ‘everywhere’

They used to have a desk at Manchester airport for just this. Literally turn up with your suitcases.

When I was looking the other day you could book Jet2 holidays for the next day.

I walked into a travel agent, booked Minorca, went home and packed, but we were flying the next day

You can't usually book package holidays that leave on the day but should get one for next day.
Think you'd need to book flights and accommodation separately if you want same day

Happy to go tomorrow or Sunday even as kids have an inset day the following Monday.
have checked skyscanner and can’t find short haul from south west, have up to £3000 to spend, don’t care what board!

Do you have Ryanair/easyjet that fly out near you? I'd go on to one of their websites and put your airport in and see what the options are and then look for accommodation separately

TUI have literally hundreds of package holidays online leaving tomorrow.

Jet2holidays leaving from Bristol on Monday (nothing showing leaving over the weekend, but you can shorten the duration to 5/6 days if a week is too long).
