Girls are in school identifying as

Today, while discussing my daughter's welfare, the safe guarding officer we have been leasing with at my daughter's school told me that they have had girls coming into school identifying as Cheetahs and wanted kitty litter in the bathrooms.

SHE WASN'T JOKING.

There is seriously bad stuff happening to kids and we need to talk about it.

Cheetahs.

She followed by saying "you have absolutely no idea just how bad it is in school these days, there is much worse than that happening."

Most of the girls in my DD's school won't even dare use the skanky broken door and grot toilets they are provided with. Can't imagine any teen squatting over a litter tray 😂

BingoMarieHeeler · 24/05/2024 07:56
  1. bullshit
  2. cheetahs don’t use ‘kitty litter’ babes
  3. school wouldn’t (I hope - fucking shouldn’t!) indulge said bullshit.
  4. cheetahs don’t even go to school for that matter so surely nothing to do with school as a ‘cheetah’ wouldn’t be there 🙂

I'm saving this thread for when proof does appear that the 'IT'S NOT HAPPENING!!!!!' crowd will accept. As I said, there are none so blind....

Given everything that has 'happened' that we were told is 'nOt HaPpEnInG!', I am surprised there are still silly fools that have their heads in the sand, with this. FFS. People just don't want to accept it. As usual, fingers in ears repeatedly yelling it's not happening, is easier than facing reality. We've seen this only at least 250 times already with other things that were not happening.

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

Well even if it is happening, like most things it is probably a handful of kids and they can be advised that school is not the place for this role play and no litter will be provided.
Most teens experiment with being different just leave them to it but don't allow it to disrupt school. I'm sure schools have means of speaking with parents and dealing with issues like these.
Most teens won't still be a furry at 21 and if they are leave them to it.
Not worth getting foamy about when kids are vaping/shagging/doing drugs/knifing each other at school.

I do not think this is true. See Snopes. And the Guardian.

Yeah read Snopes and The guardian 🤣😶

Perhaps you could show us an example of where it definitely is happening?
In the UK. In a school.
Rather than indulging in silly conspiracy theory baiting?

willWillSmithsmith · 24/05/2024 08:20

The school should organise a sports day for them and get them to run around a track several times without stopping. It won’t take long to sort the cheetahs from the cheaters then. (Not that I believe any of this, though there is some guy in America whose been identifying as a wild cat for years and has surgically altered his face 😯).

Theothername · 24/05/2024 08:22

Litter tray? You know they’ve taken the word “gullible” out of the Oxford English Dictionary.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 24/05/2024 08:49

Get em on the athletics team.

mollyfolk · 24/05/2024 09:32

There are noises to have these identities accepted under the LGBTQ+ umbrella.
Really? Doesn’t seem to be mentioned on the website of any of the main LGBTQ+ advocacy charities.

Miaow? Woof?
Good luck to them, continue the alphabet soup descent into the ridiculous, and let the LGB alliance flourish without all the identifarians.

It isn't a joke or a lie

Yes it is.

terrywynne · 24/05/2024 07:46

Yes, this what I immediately thought of. Regardless of whether children are pretending to be animals, the claim of cat litter trays sounded like an import from the US. Where, as you say, it is a right wing dog whistle to stir up rage about "what schools are teaching our kids" while ignoring the reality that some schools are providing it because there are so many school shootings (and the kids might need the loo while hiding in their classroom). The normalisation of which is truly horrifying.

I was just typing a reply to this effect and then saw it was already mentioned.
That episode, and the plot twist at the end, where they did find a litter box in place to save the kids further anguish in a shootout lockdown scenario, took my breath away. It was haunting.

Choochoo21 · 24/05/2024 10:16

I would absolutely raise a complaint - what sort of kids think that cheetahs use a litter tray!!!

The bathrooms should be based on the African Savanna so these girls can squat and pee and poo on the floor more comfortably.

I am disgusted that a school would allow a child to think that a cheetah uses a litter tray.

What are we teaching these kids these days!!

I blame the teachers because they’re obviously not doing a good enough job and I definitely don’t blame the parents.

FloofyBird · 24/05/2024 10:17

Is that you Kathryn? Did the identifying as holograms not work as planned?

That’s turning into a mighty big umbrella, there’ll be no point in it soon as everyone will be under it.

SJ1991x · 24/05/2024 10:55

OP you will get told you’re making it up but this happened in our school. Except the girls identifying as cheetah’s haven’t asked for litter trays but live gazelles.

The school have managed to cordon off the field to house the gazelles but getting them in from the savannah is proving a little tricky at current. The school are panicking though as they’re concerned the cheetah-girls will starve if they don’t sort it soon. They won’t even eat the regulation pizza.

This is 100% happening. Its happening at my sons school. Girl identifying as a cat with a tail on all 4's at break purring and meowing. Big crowd of kids surrounding her laughing and pointing.

Yeah this happened in the 90s at my school too. It's not new. The cat ears is an aesthetic from anime that were popular at the time (I've just googled it and there is even a term for girls with cat ears in anime, "nekomimi"). There was also some animal identification in "alternative kids" driven by new age hippy reimagining of native American culture, I had friends who felt they had a "wolf spirit animal". We'd sit around fields in our wolf howling at the moon t-shirts, burn incense and talk about what animal spirit we felt like. Bonus points for daisy chain crown on our heads. It's just a way of giving voice to the new feelings that come with growing up. Then in the 2000s-2010s you get furries.

It isn't surprising that this trend has been around awhile. Some autistic people or kids who struggle a bit with the transition form childhood to teenage years like a bit of pretend play that they get a bit serious about. And honestly isn't it sort of insane to swamp children's media with talking sentient animals and encourage them with pretend play - but as soon as they hit 13 it's no, done, enough, you're now a sick pervert if you carry on? You can't both have a culture that normalises sentiment animal play and then also lose your mind when some young people fail to perfectly follow the unspoken age at which they should stop.

Anyway, the litter tray thing is made up. You might get the occasional kid who insists they are really a cat or a raven or a wolf. But they are not asking to use litter trays, that's a myth aimed at bolstering disgust reactions towards trans people.

This is nothing new, and I have personal experience as we had this years ago when my daughter Sophie invited her friend who identified as a tiger over for tea. That fucker ate all our food and drank all the water in the taps. We had to take Sophie out to a cafe for tea. We then bought a huge tin of cat food in case the tiger came to tea again, but it never did. Ungrateful bastard.

😂

I will never read this book the same way again!

Notreat · 24/05/2024 11:07

I am confident that this is all absolute nonsense. Whipped up by people with another agenda

Even more that furries - the new trend is therianism. Look up therians.

Again, not new. Have you ever seen a Disney film?

😂You should consider writing a book about your experience.

Your best friends cousin is not a furry. She's an overindulged child allowed to go to school with a dressing up item.

It's sad you think allowing children to dress up is overindulgence.

That's like saying "she's not a goth, she's an overindulged child allowed to wear black eyeliner". Being a furry isn't a gender, it's a subculture.

MonsteraMama · 24/05/2024 11:28

I wonder if it's occurred to any of the people having absolute histrionics over this that the kids posting shit like this on tiktok are doing it on purpose because it's so hilarious to see people like @SoreAndTired1 have complete meltdowns about it and post ludicrous end of days "none so blind" shit on Facebook. Probably over a Minions meme.

When I was in school we managed to convince the more gullible and hysterical parents that we were all part of a secret satanic werewolf cult. You know, for shits and giggles. Kids do stuff like that.
