Will I get sick from this?

I bought cooked prawns from the shop this morning at 9am. When I went to prepare lunch at 12 I realised I'd left them in the hallway instead of the fridge.

I'm paranoid about food safety but for some reason I bloody ate them, after they were left unrefrigerated for 3.5 hours.

Am I likely to get sick? And if I do, will it be soon, or will it be weeks before I get ecoli or something? I'm scared!

They were discounted as the use-by date was today which probably doesn't help either.

I reckon you'll be ok. I've taken food (including prawn sarnies) on picnics and they've had a bit of a wait to be eaten. It's jot been that hot today...well not here anyway.

Thank you. That's what i was thinking, it says it's fine unrefrigerated for 2 hours and that could include outside in the sun at a picnic or barbecue, so I'm hoping 3 hours in my hallway is fine. It was overcast this morning and maybe about 15 degrees outside.

I was so busy with work I didn't give it a second thought earlier and now I'm suddenly freaking out.

Am sure you’ll be fine. Don’t worry.
