Any Brighton 'netters fancy The Streets tomorrow? 4 x VIP tickets for free.

I am aware this sounds like a scam because VIP tickets for from etc, but I am a long-standing MN, since the days of Handbag chucking us all out, Centre Parcs bum sex, penis-cup, Mexican house thief...? Or was it Greek? Anyway, hopefully I have proven myself kosher.

We booked 4 VIP tickets for The Streets' show tomorrow evening in East Brighton Park (starts at 4 but there's support acts, so needn't be there at 4).

Unfortunately, since booking (ages ago in an attempt to DO MORE this year), our kids' school trips have advised they are now coming back that day at two different times (2 kids on 2 different trips) and so we just can't make it, logistically. We've tried and failed, hence the late giveaway!

You will need a Ticketmaster account, I believe, so that we can effect the transfer of the tickets to you - they are going for free because I hate the thought of them being wasted.

Get in touch or if you know anyone who'd like to know, please spread the word. Otherwise I fear they'll be unused which is a big shame.

I know! We've been back and forth...and back again!! But we just can't make it work. The kids' schools give an estimated time of arrival but update on a group chat and Class Dojo - it's too much to ask of someone (likely with their own kids) to step into my shoes, really. We're a well-oiled machine, I just wish we had family close by. My sister is the only one I'd ask this kind of pain in the arse favour of but she's in Liverpool (we're in the Midlands and this is in fecking Brighton!).

I might see if I can join a fan page on IG or Facebook, but I daresay people will think "too good to be true"?

I hate the thought of the waste, the money doesn't bother me. We've got loads on this year, and this is just one thing that hasn't worked out. No biggie.

Hi all, I have had a message from someone willing to take them off my hands so we are just sorting that out. For some reason they can't go back to TM and nor are they transferable, so the only way we can actually do it is if they log in on my TM account on their phone as me. No harm (I can remove my card and then change the password when all said and done) and sometimes we just have to trust people...

So gutted! I've just had an email about the venue etc and the perks of the VIP section. Anyway, such is life. Someone will have a great time with them. And if they don't, @JLP2024 is next in line! x
