Will I regret a Navy Sofa?

Anyone got a Navy Sofa and regretted it? What colour walls go with a Navy Sofa?

I have velvet navy sofa and white walls. No massive regret, but I am looking to get new covers and won’t get navy again. I have ginger sheddy cats, and I keep looking at the tawn-coloured velvet sofa in ds’s room and wanting that instead!

I'd keep the walls lighter/ more neutral and let the sofa make the statement. If you love it go for it.

Have one and love it. Navy and white walls

We had a navy sofa for years (loose covers so we switch them up every so often), no regrets except for the toddler/yoghurt years.

It's practically a neutral because it goes beautifully with white, of course (as well as off-whites like F&B Schoolroom White/Dulux Candle Cream/Crown Sail White) but also pale (or deeper) peachy tones, greens, terracottas, dusty rose, coral, deep brick red (with white/off white), mustards and golds. It's really versatile. We had it with pale peachy pink walls, but if I was doing it again, I'd do F&B Schoolroom White walls and brick red accents.

Put navy sofa or navy velvet sofa into Pinterest and you'll get lots of ideas.

I really dislike brown/grey/oatmeal sofas (and carpets), although I definitely see the logic in getting a sofa the same colour as your cat!

Navy sofa green walls. Looks fab

Navy sofa, pale grey walls, dark woodwork and curtains. I do love the navy sofa, from sofa.com and no problem keeping it clean, although we have a strict no food rule in that room. It's 4 years old and going strong.
When we changed one thing interim, the sofa, friends all thought we'd had the whole room decorated!
