My DD7 (in year 2) is a good reader, and has recently been reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Prior to this she was into the Zoe’s Rescue Zoo books. She does read standalone books but has said she much prefers series. She’s getting through them really quickly so wondered if anyone had any suggestions what we could try next. She’s read the first 3 Harry Potters but they get a bit darker and more complex from 4 onwards so we’ve not moved onto them yet. I’ve also considered Malory Towers as she does like the TV series.
