I live over in Japan and there's a song here that became famous a few years ago because the moment you play it babies completely stop crying.

I've got a new born - not even 2 weeks old yet so I can't testify for older babies but it's currently effective for us (hubby and me) - although we've also resorted to driving her once 🤣.

We're finding it really funny - but on a serious note I thought I'd put it up on here in case it's useful for anyone else.

It just seems like the 'song' has got a few grabby unexpected sounds that spark the child's curiosity without being surprising enough to cause distress. Lots of different songs and other sounds will have the same effect.
I think that whoever made the film is just trying a little bit too hard to go viral.

My kids are both rotten sleepers, I wonder if it will work on teens...I might try it!
