Watching the Friends reunion for the second time

Jennifer Anniston and David Schwimmer talked about how they had a thing for each other but never had an opportunity for a relationship as they were dating/married to other people.
Is it just me or do you think if they genuinely liked each other they would have made it work regardless?

Not necessarily. I don’t think it’s that uncommon for people to realise they’re mutually attracted to a colleague or friend whilst simultaneously knowing that a) they love their partner and don’t want to jeopardise that relationship and / or b) acknowledging that whilst there’s attraction and they really like each other, they’d very probably not work out at all as a couple so it’s definitely not worth losing both a loving relationship and a great friend over.
