Can anyone recommend a good and long-lasting pair of wellies for adults?

I use snow-type boots to walk my dog during the colder months. However I have now decided to bite the bullet and invest in a pair of good wellies for the warmer months when, however, you can still get wet feet/legs when the grass is long.

I had a pair of Hunter boots years ago and liked those. But is there anything better on the market today? Something more comfortable? I like the idea of a pair of Chameau but they are quite pricey - are they worth the splurge? I'm keen on something that's knee high and 100% waterproof. And even snow boots often aren't, by the way. Any recommendations? TIA.

Hunter Balmorals- comfy, very good sole and pretty much bomb-proof

Seconding Muck boots. They have excellent grip and they're comfortable for walking miles in. My last pair split at the heel eventually but only after a good four or five years of wear.

Aigle wellies, also pricey but worth it. Use mine regularly for wet walks, had them at least 12 years.
