I have a severe phobia of all things buzzy, especially wasps but anything that flies really. Last night when I went to bed I could hear something buzzing, seemed to be behind the curtains so I jumped out of bed and put the light on only to be divebombed repeatedly by something with a high pitched buzz, bigger than a mosquito but possibly (hopefully) smaller than a wasp. I obviously did a (probably hilarious in other circumstances) demented dash for the door and managed to get out of the room without letting it escape, albeit with a badly bruised knee from bashing it on the corner of a unit in my undignified panic Blush

I fetched the Raid from downstairs, managed to psych myself up enough to crack the door open and give the room a good spray and retired to the sofa for the night. The can of Raid is old though and I'm worried it may not have worked. I'm at home today anyway so haven't needed to get in there for clothes or anything yet but will have to brave it at some point as need to pop out later.

So now I'm trying to work up the courage to open the door and search for the (please god) dead body of whatever it was. I feel sick and sweaty and the longer I leave it the worse it will get, there's no one I can call for help. No idea what I'm expecting the people in my phone to do but thought posting might make me feel less alone, I really need to just do it but I'm so scared 😟

I would guess it was a fly. They like to head inside when it rains. Annoying but harmless!
