(on Friday)
Of course she's invited another child to her birthday party without telling us and we gave numbers to the venue yesterday and the parent has only replied today and even then NOT TO RSVP BUT JUST TO SAY CAN SOMEONE GIVE HER DS A LIFT.
Another mum said to me recently, we've kept them alive for a decade!
AIBU to say "despite the child themselves' best efforts".

YANBU!

Should I strangle the parents or DD?
The venue could probably add another but they didn't RSVP in the first place AND DD didn't tell me (I would have said yes, I think she just forgot).
But I do feel sorry for little Maximillian who thinks he's going to a birthday party tomorrow!

Just say no to the lift as you have a full car and are going to see family after the party, they might not come then!

But they might get a lift with someone else and just turn up and be an extra!

I could gamble on someone being ill tomorrow (which is when the party is).
