All inclusive - how much ?

Looking at booking my first all inclusive holiday In a long time. I want something quite special as I've had a rough couple of years, health wise.

I was wondering if people think just shy of £1k pp for june in Turkey is reasonable for 7 nights?

Yes we can afford it and I would be willing to pay it if it's the norm, but it's more than I expected.

Beautiful hotel, adults only, gym spa etc very nice decor. Beautiful pools and restaurants, excellent reviews across all sites. Private beach. More of a sprawling green layout than a big tower block type so doesn't feel crowded. Nice convenient flights for us.

I was imagining more like £700pp but I can't find anything anywhere near as nice as nice on the usual websites for that sort of money. Plus most of the cheaper ones use easyJet flights so there's a load of add ons for baggage etc.

So, semi-luxury all inclusive regulars, what do you reckon?

@gettingolderbutcooler we usually go to Rhodes actually (villa di Mare in Ixia then down to lindos ) but want to try somewhere new

@Bearpawk was that adults only? I ask because we’re thinking of heading to Greece next year.

When are the flights ?
It's a good 4 hours to Turkey from the UK , then you have transfers ( and you;re UK Airport arrival and check in)
If it;s the wrong time you waste best part of a day , same on return.

Can I just add a shout for

I spent two weeks in Turkish hospitals , one we had to pay part before they transferred me the Insurance did cover but you don't want that kind of worry !

@JingsMahBucket it's not adults only but apart from a shallow pool there's not much for kids, if you see what I mean. The hotel restaurant is high end and geared towards adults but there's loads of family friendly places out in the street.

Flights get there late and that's fine by me as I don't have to take the day off work and it's 15 mins cab from airport

@70isaLimitNotaTarget sorry to hear that happened to you, hope you're ok now.
I've had cancer recently so I'm hot on insurance even though it's tricky when you have an existing condition but not worth the risk for me not to have it

Ok @paprikaforever
"Beautiful hotel, adults only, gym spa etc very nice decor. Beautiful pools and restaurants, excellent reviews across all sites. Private beach. More of a sprawling green layout than a big tower block type"
I assumed this would have read as 'not a shit hole'
I've done some research and as well as the trip advisor and booking.com reviews there's some videos and posts on Instagram about it. Pics on the tui website don't do it justice, looks even better in the videos

If it's to a place called Sarigerme then I've bern a few times (it's a lovely village) and there's some fantastic hotels there.

Sounds very reasonable tbh. Enjoy your holiday OP.

fuerteventura last year AI cost us £2800 for two weeks so £700 per person per week the hotel was lovely but the food was very much bog standard all inclusive and no grounds as such just a hotel on the beach
