I have lived next door to them since November 2021.
They have loud, raging arguments most nights complete with banging and shattering noises until the early hours. Genuinely sounds like they’re battering each other. Children live there on/off and when they were there, would cry and scream. On a few occasions I called the police in 2023, then the children and mother moved out.
Recently the dad moved out then back in and is continuing with his aggressive behaviour - he’s having raging arguments to the point I can hear him in my home. I can’t hear any other voices today so not sure if he’s alone.
Is there anything more I can do about this? I tried recording the noise but I don’t think the council can do anything about a noise complaint regardless. Is there a way I can find out if he rents/has a landlord? Or do I just have to call the police as and when things get to an urgent level of concern? I don’t really feel comfortable talking to him alone when he’s in that aggressive state
