Things to do when in Barcelona for a few hours

Will be there tomorrow with 11yo.

No tickets left for the cathedral unfortunately as too short notice. What can we do?

An obvious one but the tour bus and get off at a couple of stops. We did a little rowing boat on a lake too

I always enjoy a wander around the La Boqueria market, such vibrant colours and exotic produce. It’s just off Las Ramblas

Last time I tried rowing on a lake we just span in circles. It was great fun! Do you remember where that was?

Park guell is the gaudi park - other than soaking up last ramblas.

Walking distance from las ramblas but couldn’t give you much more than that I’m afraid 🙈 possibly parque de la ciutadella, I’ve just looked it up

We're there next week and planning on going to the big fun museum on the ramblas - looks fun for kids
