Property market in Ponteland Newcastle

Hi, I have posted on the property page but will also ask here in case any locals are around.
we don’t live in the NE but would be relocating and downsizing. Property we are interested in was bought 2 years and not been improved, has been on and off the market with three different agents in the last year, was sstc once but then listed again last month at offers over, less £5000 than they had paid. Not sure of the market so any advice welcome, Thanks

Hi, don’t really want to link - have driven past the house and very pretty from outside, good garden area and facing right way for sun in the back. We are downsizing, cash buyers, just us two as kids grown up. The house will be a compromise for us as unusual layout so very difficult and expensive to extend upstairs, would hopefully be able to convert attached garage to office and utility- subject to Darras Hall committee.

Just looked at agents website and showing as under offer. Any ideas how market is in Darras Hall?
