Childminder leaving gift

Our DD leaves our amazing childminder this summer to start school. We literally can't thank this lady enough for everything she's done for us/DD over the past few years. It's not a goodbye from us all as my youngest starts with her in September, but would like to get her a gift to thank her for everything with DD. Any suggestions on appropriate gifts!

I'm a cm, nice gifts have been meal vouchers for a restaurant, massage voucher.... nice things for my home.... the best thing is always a heart felt thank you card with lots of nice words. Only thing I would say no to is photos of your DC, we have thousands of them!

I'm a childminder and I love the personalised things that I can hang in my office. Little poems, hangers and even a decorated plate once. I like seeing their little names as a reminder.

We got DD's childminder a potted outdoor plant. Small enough for the patio and then was planted in the flower bed a year later.

She loves gardening and is a fan of that particular flower.

Our childminder was wonderful and really felt like an extension of our family. We got her a gift voucher for a clothes shop we knew she loved. My friend got her childminder a gift voucher for a local restaurant which I thought was a lovely idea.
