Vinted was my friend and if I say it myself I scrubbed up well.
I went as a veteran - met soldiers there I hadn’t seen for 40 years.
I am not much of a royalist but there was cake on offer….and I do have respect for Princess Ann who spent so much time with the elderly veterans ( not me).
And the sun shone beautifully - my friend saw Alfie Bowe so was well chuffed.
