I love coffee, DP likes coffee - he wants to love it because we have 3 kids, one being a baby, and he’s knackered!
I have the Lavazza Modo Mio and it’s great, problem is i’ve never been too experimental with it. I use the orange pack of pods and I use a small amount of oat milk in the frother. I find this tastes nicer than cow’s milk with this particular coffee.
Anyone else have this and can recommend a decent Lavazza pod? I like a strong but creamy coffee (hence the oat milk, it’s creamier than cow‘s) And i’d like a machine that can offer that? Or are there other combinations I can try in the Lavazza machine rather than just these orange pods and oat milk?
DP isn’t keen on my Lavazza coffee at all and that’s why we’re looking for another machine in addition to the Modo Mio.
He likes a latte flavoured with syrup 🤢 I like a strong cappuccino. He’s tried the Dolce Gusto and the Tassimo machine and wasn’t wowed with either.
We’re looking for a machine that can suit us both. We’re both at opposite ends of the coffee spectrum so this may not be an easy task.
