What width curtains do I need?

Stupid question time. My window is 120 inches wide, what width curtains do I need for a decent gather?

They are for a curtain rail with hooks if it makes a difference?

At least double up to triple width. I think I went double on my French doors, but I rarely draw them so they don't need much gather.

I've heard, 1 x the width, 1.5 times and double lol.

At least 1.5 but depends how they gather and type of header tape

Are they really 120 inches wide? That's huge!

The window is 120" wide, it's a bay window
