What would you do if locked in a shopping centre overnight

Who would you choose to be with you? What shops, past, present or future would you want in there?

Assuming everything works, like in films.

I'd peruse the clothes shops and choose a nice outfit. Do my make up at the beauty counters. Have a bbq in a garden shop, have a few drinks, put a film on in the cinema then back to the casino for drinks, games and dancing. Pretty boring really. I'd choose my dh and 2 best friends.

I'd have trolley races and a big game of paintball.

I take it we won't be liable for any clean up or damage incurred?

Find the home furniture dept, a bed and sleep till daytime! And I'd have NOONE!! but sleep glorious uninterrupted sleep!!

swapcicles · 19/05/2024 09:21

Presuming no come back on what I did because in reality I'd just get out of there.
I would get myself a large expensive coffee (luckily I know how to operate a coffee machine😁)then a large bag and fill it with all the stuff I've been unable to afford for years, nice clothes, home stuff and toiletries ect.
Then I'd spend ages on the massage chairs with noone looking so I could be properly relaxed 😁
Then I'd slip out into the night with noone any the wiser.

Go to the Lego shop and build a massive set (afterbpicking up some wine and nibbles)

LongSinceGotUpAndGone · 19/05/2024 09:25

Any decent bookshop and I'd be OK.

dudsville · 19/05/2024 09:26

I'd play 80's music and do voice overs of my thoughts and actions.

Massive game of hide and seek!

I got locked in Toys R Us with my dad as a small child, so no mobile phone to ring for help. Think it was about 10 mins before we set off an alarm and a manager came back to let us out but it felt like forever for 6 years old me.

The idea is making me feel twitchy, I think because I assume this is the start of a film about a zombie apocalypse.

The first thing that popped into my head was hiding out in Mountain Warehouse with Pedro Pascal (as Joel Miller).

Do what I wanted to do as a child and roller skate on the wonderfully flat floor.

Gingernaut · 19/05/2024 09:38

Identify where the toilets are

WellOwlBeDamned · 19/05/2024 09:49

I’d recreate be that scene out of Still Game 😂

(& I’d maybe have a hammock)

WonderingWanda · 19/05/2024 09:57

I think this would've really appealed to me as child and now I can't think of anything worse.

I think I'd rather spend the night in a museum, aquarium or zoo.
