Made With Oak

I just received my furniture and it looks like it was made using an old palette all full of nail holes. I knew it was reclaimed wood and expected a rustic appearance. I would not recommend anybody buying this furniture. I don't know whether it is made from Oak because it is still shrink wrapped ready for return, but I seriously doubt it.

It could well be oak as pallets are often made from oak for the load bearing parts, and pine for the non-load-bearing parts, but that wouldn't dull my disappointment at having old nail holes so very obviously on show.

To be fair to all, I complained about the quality of the product to Made With Oak and arranged for its return. They did not quibble. I repacked it in the original packaging, they collected it and I received a full refund this morning. So thank you to Saif and the returns team.
