Paying packers to pack just the kitchen stuff? House move

Or is it only worth it if you're having everything packed by them? I still have the stuff in the kitchen to pack as well as random bits scattered in the living room/corridor

Really exhausted now and with small dc's it feels impossible

Well they charge by the hour/amount of stuff. So yes if you're exhausted definitely get them to do it (though you will have to tell them in advance as they bring their own packing materials probably for insurance reasons).
They will pack EVERYTHING though - that dirty mug or half eaten banana too...

Thank you @mondaytosunday that's really good to know. I'll ring up Monday to get a quote, and in the meantime clear any fruit peels 😂

Well I paid people to pack the lot and very pleased I did too. If you think you can manage the rest but not the kitchen Yanbu

I did just this twice. Also paid them to unpack the kitchen stuff. It was such a timesaver. I worked in tandem packing and unpacking other stuff. Plus she took all the packaging away afterwards.

That's a great idea, wish I had paid them to pack from the get go. I think i'll get a quote for unpacking too. Will save a lot of time. Thanks all!
