Water retention - what do you do?

I have got very fat wrists - doughy and clearly swollen. I am overweight but I'm also on medication which can cause water retention. Are there any tablets that can be bought over the counter that might help? I don't want to waste money if they are all rubbish. I cannot get a doctor's appointment until end of June.

Thank you!

Swimming - or just being in the water really - helps with water retention.

Talk to a pharmacist tomorrow or if it's really uncomfortable call 111 tonight.

It's not a sudden change - just very annoying. Arms feel heavy but not painful. Just wondering if any of the online tablets are helpful? Thank you though

The tablets you're referring to can cause problems with kidney function. Best talk to clinical professional - GP , 111 etc.
