just found out my daughter who is 8 wont be allowed on the standing area. I am desperately looking for someone willing to swap their 2 seats with us or she will be devastated. Bought on AXS. Anyone ?? Date 7th June

Have a look on the Reddit subforum Erastourtickets it's very active with people looking for swaps. If you decide to sell let me know Wink

I hope you get sorted

Thanks - seems like loads of dodgy posts though 🙈

Could try egg or egg-sells if your on the facebook group? It's regional and majority of posters seem legit.

Finding someone to trust online will be very hard. Your best bet would be finding someone going on the same night as you and entering the venue together - so no risk of you transferring tickets and receiving nothing in return. The only issue with that is that lots of people with standing tickets will want to queue earlier to get a better spot.

I have a Taylor ticket ambulant area and caters ticket for Wembley august 17th looking to swap any date for Edinburgh?

DerryGirl15 · 27/05/2024 10:55

I am in the same situation. I have four standing and recently discovered my kids won’t get in as under 14🙈I am really hoping to swap at least two of them, if I can’t get a swap for all four.
I’ve put a post on FB but haven’t tried Reddit yet…

Butterflyshapes · 27/05/2024 13:56

I’d be interested in two!

DerryGirl15 · 27/05/2024 20:13

To swap two? 😁

Glipsy · 27/05/2024 21:51

Just for anyone else in this situation, it’s not guaranteed that it’ll be OK so Id definitely try to swap if you can. But, you’re not going to be the only ones.

They’re not required to help you, and it might be that there are too many of you to help, but it is possible that the organisers will try to get you into seats on the day.

Id turn up early, half an hour or an hour before the doors open and go to the box office, explain and ask if there’s anything they can do. You’ll likely have to wait, and it might be a while. If you’re nice about it you’re much more likely to get sorted than if you strop!

How strict are they on the under 14 thing, do they actually ask for ID or is it more of a visual check? My DD is 13 1/2 and could easily pass for 14 visually, I've been keeping an eye out for any last minute cancellation tickets at a reasonable price, unlikely I know but you never know. I'd be tempted to buy standing tickets and hope they won't check unless we'd be highly likely to be turned away.

They might or might not. It’s going to depend on how many people are turning up with 10 year olds and claiming they’re 14, if they’re seeing trouble they’ll probably do more stringent checks.

If she’s tall and looks an easy fourteen/fifteen, I’d say it’s probably more likely to be ok than not.

The age limit is there for safety. I don’t think anyone who isn’t adult ish in size and able to look after themselves in an emergency should be on a standing floor at a stadium or arena concert and it always shocks me that people do it with their own children!

She's taller than me so safety isn't really a big concern there, and I'd imagine at a big name concert like Taylor Swift the security will be shit hot on picking up any potential safety concerns as she won't want the bad publicity should anything untoward happen. Still unlikely to get any tickets at all but if a pair came up I'd be tempted.
