DH is on the urgent waiting list for a j pouch (may well get a temp stoma in the meantime), we're trying to find out info to plan ahead.
No one seems to give us direct answers to simplish questions such as roughly how long in hospital afterwards, how long until a fair recovery I.E being able to go watch the kids play football, walk the dog etc.
I'm very ill myself and somedays I cannot even stand up so trying to plan how the heck we will get through this.
He's worried about the prospect of sexual dysfunction whereas I think a j pouch is worth everything at this point.
Anyone have any experience that they can share.
