Worried I have a cyst or worse on ovary

I'm 13 weeks post partum and recently had my second period since having my baby via c section.
It was my fertile window last week and for the first time ever I had spotting mid cycle ! Since then I'm having on and off quite painful stabbing pains where my left ovary would be.
Would the spotting and pain be a sign there is a cyst there ?

I don't know but I have just had an ovarian cyst. Convinced it was on my right side because been having odd pains there for a year. It was on the left 😄

I used to get a stabbing pain in my ovary area. Years later, I have had an internal scan and I do have an ovarian cyst. The vast majority are harmless. Speak to your gp.
