What was this book about fairies called?

My DD is currently into fairies and it’s reminded me about a book I had as a child but I can’t remember what it was called and with the limited information I remember google is not helpful!

It was about a girl who found a baby/toddler fairy who’d fallen asleep and been left behind by her family. There was a scene where the young fairy eats a berry (possibly a blackberry) and ends up covered in juice. The mother fairy does return to collect the young fairy in the end. I would have read it in the early/mid 90s and I remember the artwork being very pretty.

I know it’s not much to go on! Does anyone have any idea what it might have been called?

Was it one of the flower fairy stories?

I think it might be flower fairies too - it sounds very familiar

This does sound like one of the flower fairy stories to me too. I want to say it was called something like the littlest fairy. It could possibly be Enid blyton too but either which way it’s very familiar!
