Does anyone else think the ice cream van music is creepy?

The one around here plays the Teddy bears picnic song, the one that goes
"If you go down the woods today..."

Gives me the shudders!
(Doesn't bother me enough to stop wanting a mr whippy with a flake though 😂)

Ours plays the same, teddy bear picnic. I don't find it creepy, just annoying

Whenever my kids hear it in the distance they say it's creepy.

Yes - I just find them a bit sinister in general. Although our ice cream man when I was little was really creepy!

The ones round here do either 'O sole mio' or 'Greensleeves'. Nothing sinister in either of those!

Ours is simple Simon and no I don't find it creepy 🤔

Ours plays teddy bears picnic. Not sinister, but I get imagines in my mind from a new report years ago. They did bacterial testing on those vans and found some were rancid. Especially as its milk going through pipes and machinery and not being scrupulously cleaned. 😱

I gues it could be a bit creepy when far away as it can sound ghostly. But not up close.

I love the sound myself, there is one in our area every week and the queue looks so happy.

The one round my way plays Yankee Doodle Dandy. I find all ice cream van chimes a bit creepy tbh. Think it must be something to do with that scene on 'Day of the Triffids'. 😂
