What to do with photo albums - any suggestions and tips welcome

I'm trying to finally declutter and am looking for some suggestions re what to do with photos in albums.

Had the "misfortune" to have been old school (photos developed at Boots etc.. and then put in albums) when DC were younger - so their first ten years are mainly in physical albums.

Latter years photos are digital and stored on PC etc..

I don't really want to digitise the older physical photos but want to find a way to store them that doesn't take up 12 plus albums! Mainly because it would take forever and then I would be loathe to throw away the physical photos.

Has anyone got any creative suggestions please?

I had the same problem and bought some photo storage boxes that take up a lot less room than albums. I also had a good sort out, destroying any duplicates and filed them in chronological order. Hope this helps.
