Messed up - SORN'D car but it's in the wrong place

Made a sleep deprived mistake this morning. I'm selling my car and it's going to be parked on private property rather than on my street. The yard where it's going is less thana mile away from my house but I SORN'D the car too early and it's still parked outside of my house. Partner is convinced I'm going to get done by the police if I drive it and I should tax it again before moving it.

It's a five drive at longest, down a quiet lane. Not sure if there's any point or if taxing it for less than an hour then re SORNing will cause issues?

Thanks!

Forgot to say it still has MOT (until next year!) and insurance and is in great condition so no worries about safety.

I'd just move it. It'll be fine.

It'll be fine. Exactly how often do you see police down this lane? And even if you did, and you explained what was happening, what are the chances of the officer caring enough about that?

It's a minuscule risk. Just move the car.

Thanks!

I'm stressed to hell over selling it - been messed around by a few people now and I'm anxious and over thinking everything!

I'd do it sooner than later though - if it's SORNed but on the street then you might get someone looking for an easy quota.

Friend is opening the gate for me at 8am so it'll be moved soon!

And luckily I live in a very quiet grove with no through traffic so no one is likely to be near it apart from my neighbours.

Ahh, there you go - all good then - good luck selling!

Thank you!

It's a nice car but I've never got on with it- the layout is all wrong for me and I can't wait to get back to something I can drive comfortably!

How will you do test drives if it's SORNed?

It's on a large farm so it should be fine. Plenty of road/track space.
