So, probably a little outing for those who know me, but I don't care, I just had to share.
DH is a longtime wheelchair user thanks to an accident as a young child and having a wheelchair is very much part of his normal life.
Today he was having a bit of a banter with the teen girl who was serving our family lunch at our local pub. They were talking about a podcast they both listen to and they were arguing about a certain theory and who was right, and she told my DH he didn't have a leg to stand on ! She then gawped a little and blushed, even though my DH thought it was a funny moment.
She sort of stared at his wheelchair a second and then started to apologise but her words got muddled up and she said she was "Wheely sorry". Oh my god, I couldn't hold it together. DH is very easygoing so he reassured her it really wasn't an issue, bless her.
He and I are still laughing now, hours later.
Anyone else want to share their funny moments of the week?
