Family calendar apps

I've been using Cozi for the last couple of years and it's been doing the job, but now they're changing it so that I'll need to pay an annual fee to use most of its features- if it was a one off purchase I'd probably pay rather than move to something else but at 45€ a year it's too much.

So can anyone recommend a good, easy to use shared calendar app which the whole family can access and update etc - it needs to work on android and apple platforms.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Following for same reason

We use google calendar. You need to log in online on the actual website to add people and give access, but after that you can add to the app and it goes across all calendars.

Time tree. We use the free version and it works well. You can use different colours for entries which affect different people for ease of use. You can also put in repeating entries, then amend the individually if required. Only downside is, if you put a notification reminder in for an event, all the phones ping with the notification. It was the first one we tried and meh I don't feel the need to find an alternative.

I've been using it for the last couple of years between my exh and I for anything to do with our son. He has apple, I have android and does the job just fine
