Private baby scans

Had my 2 scans on the NHS and one early one due to complications.

Have seen the window to the womb branch advertised everywhere and on groupon. Are these 4d scans worth the price?

i know it depends on what youre going for, reassurance etc, and how much disposable income you have, its my first baby so want to see the general consesus on them

I enjoyed mine, just go in remembering that it's just to look at things and does not provide medical info!

I personally wouldn't waste my time and money on one, but that's just me. Looking at a grainy picture of my child didn't really make me feel more magically connected to them, when they are literally inside of your body and with you every day. Maybe I'd feel differently if it was a surrogate pregnancy and I didn't have that contact. I did have a 3rd trimester scan on the NHS, which admittedly wasn't 4D, so not the same quality, but it wasn't very interesting and they are so big at that point that you can only see bits and pieces, not really like a whole baby.
