How many friends do you have?

I've a friend who has so many friends. Almost daily she's meeting up with someone.

I admit to feeling a bit envious at times as my life not' s like that.

I've lost a few friends who've died in their 50s or early 60s. I'm quite introverted I don't reach out to people that easily. I'm not a joiner of 'clubs' and my work was pretty isolating where I didn't meet many people.

I've moved around a bit with DH's work, friends have moved away for work and now I'm left with around 3 friends on the doorstep and a couple of close friends who live long distance.

One, that I would do anything for and she's fantastic and I count her as family.
A couple that the man originated as my partner's friend through an activity
I "know" lots of people but would never ask them for anything or rely on them if I needed something .

Quite a few. In different capacities though like i have one who we always meet for coffee and a chat, some will visit me at home. Lots of people can count on but Two or three I've known most of my life and i can absolutely count on them. One is like a sister.

I have a lot of people I get on with but as a "friend" to be honest maybe 1?
I moved away from my hometown eight years ago and I've got to know people where I live now but I just find women to be very bitchy and it's always a competition so I just stay away from all that. I'm happy enough though. I've got used to it.
