A book on autism for 17 year old male

My DN (male) feels he might be autistic. He goes through periods of wanting to talk about it, and others of not wanting to even hear the word. I have been educating myself, and have found some amazing websites and support groups that focus on female presentation. He is what I now understand would be the old 'aspergers', or 'high functioning'. He's spectacularly intelligent on many diverse areas, but massively struggles socially and has really isolated himself since Covid.

I am after a book that is recent and will appeal to him once he's ready to learn more about it.

Thanks so much.

Have a look at the secrets of my spectrum. It's written by a teenager. Just a short book but I found it excellent.

Untypical by Pete Wharmby

Dr Luke Beardon also has several good books

Does anyone know of any support groups in south east London for teens with autism? Thank you
