Tom Dyckhoff is my new favourite person off the telly

I've recently started wasting many hours watching old series of The Great Interior Design Challenge on Prime and am now working my way through Handmade: Britains Best Woodworker on 4.
TD is the presenter on the first and judge on the second and he is utterly lovely. His stripy tee-shirts, his cool specs, and his general loveliness. When he's on screen it feels like the TV is giving me a warm hug. Thanks TD, you're just what I need right now

I agree. His presenting style is so calming and kind, and he is so knowledgeable too. It's obvious that when presenting information it is coming from within his vast store of learning, rather than his reading it from an Autocue.

Calming and kind is the perfect way of describing it. He seems to genuinely love what he does and the people he meets along the way.

My husband knows him and I've met him briefly. And can vouch he is lovely!!

@sallydoodlecat I'm really pleased to hear that's he's lovely in person. I'd be surprised if he wasn't as he seems so natural.
