Does anyone have psychic powers and can tell me where my car key is. I've looked all over my house and have no idea. It's been lost since last night. I have a memory of taking it out of my pocket and poof it's disappeared. I honestly have searched everywhere. I have a small house. Please Help🕵🏻

Kitchen cupboard. You opened the cupboard to get something and put your key down

Could you have got into your house without them?
Have you absolutely not gone out of your house since?
Think through the rooms you went in when you got back in order

failing that, think of the first thing you usually do. Are they on top of the loo? In the fridge? Under kitchen sink?

They’ll be in a cupboard. You were probably carrying them with other stuff and they’ve been put away.

You picked something up with key in hand and put them both down together; forgetting key was also with it.

My colleague did this with a memory stick of all our work place inspection evidence for an a accreditation the following day.

A search by whole family found it in the bin...sorry OP

Are they the key fob type, or do you have a physical key that you have to put into a key hole to drive?

If the former, can you still start the car? If so, the key must either be still in the car, or right next to it.

I thought it could be in the car as other people have suggested. But it's key less entry so makes a noise when you walk away. Husband is sure it beeped. He's away with the car so can't check. But I need the key because I have to pick the car up but won't meet him to hand over the key.
Looks like I'm going to have to go through the bin.

Upstairs bottom left of cabinet dropped on the floor accidently there..

Is it in a key fob with the back door key and still in the door? Underneath a jumper you took off?

Fallen off a desk, near a bin, something green

Not in the bin. Just checked. Honestly no idea. Last had it Monday night after collecting my dd from brownies. And now it's gone. Maybe it is in the car.

Found it!!!! Yay. It was on the floor in the shoe cupboard barely even hidden!!! Thank you so much. I am so relieved.

No idea how it got there though.

Last time this happened to me, it was in my dressing gown pocket. Took me 2 days to find. Check all pockets of all coats and garments, even if you could swear blind you haven't worn them recently!
